ABOUT ZULA

Zula is a free-to-play online multi-player first person shooter. In Zula you will discover real unique locations as Istanbul, Northern Iraq and other places of the middles east, as well as indoor maps. Seventeen maps are available for now, all of them have their own particularities and offer a unique challenge. You will totally immerse yourself in the world of Zula thanks to very realistic graphics.
As player, you will be able to choose between two different factions of fighters: Zula, a group of vigilantes misunderstood as an organized crime syndicate and Gladyo, an international paramilitary force that has infiltrated almost every military organization worldwide.
The game has various game modes as for example Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Free for All, Wanted or Escort, Elimination, Boss Hunt and new ones are on the way! Twenty playable characters, inspired by popular TV heroes and with a unique background story, are available. In order to achieve an authentic feel, all character outfits and equipment are based on exact paramilitary specs. Moreover, you will have the choice between more than 150 weapons and new ones are regularly added to the game as well as items.

RECEP ARSLAN

He was born in Adana, after completing his military service as a commander, he joined the Gendarmerie Special Operations Team. During his duty he participated in many domestic and international operations. In an important operation he participated in, he get ambushed because of the leaked information from inside and he got seriously injured. After this incident he retired as "veteran". But he vowed to find the betrayers.

AZAD KARA

He was born in Diyarbakır. Until military service, together with his father, he was processing copper, which is a traditional family job. When he heard that his commander Demir whom he met in the army, was severely injured because of a malicious attack he came to Istanbul and join Zula with a flame for vengeance.

ŞAHİN KILIÇ

He worked in the Anti-Terrorism Unit of Ankara for many years . He was always headstrong, tough and was a legend in his department. As a result of his personality, he has made countless enemies. At every opportunity, he prevented the operations of illegal organizations. The greatest supporter of Sahin was his friend from Academy, Akın. An illegal organization troubled by his operations and infiltrated into security chief office killed Akın. Their plan was to make Şahin accused with the murder of Akın. While he was being taken to prison to be executed, he was rescued by Demir and joined Zula

CENGİZ KAYA

He was born in Konya. All members of his family passed away, when he was a little child. He was raised by rowdies and has learnt to be ruthless and rough. Thanks to his loyalty and brave heart, he earned respect and became a famous hero. The most famous and powerful rowdy, Pala Hasan, in the town was encouraging him, too. Pala Hasan’s son were into selling drug and arms trade, however Pala Hasan was strongly against that. As a result of the conflict between father and son, the son joined Gladio. During an unexpected attack managed by Ivan, unfortunately, Pala Hasan lost his life and Cengiz got injured. After his role model Pala Hasan died, Cengiz swore for vengeance. During his chase for Gladio, Cengiz crosses with Demir and joined Zula.

UNCLE EŞREF

From Ödemiş, İzmir. Demir's respectful mentor. There is no information on the official record about his past. The mystery of his life is only known by Demir. Rumor has it that, he descends from the Great Efe.

ŞAMİL DUDAYEV

Shamil was a harmless and quiet family man engaged in farming and hunting in Chechnya. During an operation of Gladio in this region, a great clash broke out in Shamil's village. Shamil lost all his family during this operation. He came to Istanbul to find Gladio's trail, but found Demir and joined Zula.

YUNUS ŞANLI

He was born in Trabzon. After completing his military service as a commando, he returned to his hometown. When he took his boot out for fishing with his family, the boat was sabotaged by the uncertain people. Captain Yunus lost both his crew and his brother Murat during attack. While chasing up the attackers, he crossed with the commander Recep Arslan whom he met in the army.

LARRY SILVERSTEIN

Born in Ashkelon. His family members were working as factory labor. Larry was a brilliant student. After finishing high school, he was accepted by the Harvard University as a scholar. He studied International Relations and later, he started to work at a firm operating in Middle East and became the manager in charge of operations in Middle East. Strategies that he he designed for companies were especially appreciated by intelligence agencies. Everything was going well for Larry, until he learned that he had lost his entire family in a rocket attack on Ashkelon. After the attack he joined Mossad with the desire to clarify the incident and find whoever is responsible. He was a very successful agent with lust for revenge which consumes him. A Gladio agent in Mossad approached Larry and took him to Gladio which promised him to take his family's revenge.

IVAN VASILYEV

Born Korkino, Russia. He lost his family at a very young age in an accident. When he is younger he worked in coal mines in town then joined the army. The spotlight was on him thanks to his superior physical abilities and sharp tactical intelligence. He was taken to The Spetsnaz GRU, an elite commando unit working for Russian intelligence. Only a few people were able to graduate this union but Ivan managed to graduate with a honored degree. He had important roles in many operations both in Russia and outside of Russia. In the Chechen War, he won the Medal of Courage. The changing political strategy in Russia made him a rebel. Ivan did not lose his motivation about that there was much to do. After working in the Middle East for a while as a mercenary, he met Gladio and soon became the leader of the union.

ROBERT O'BANNON

Born in Texas. He grew up on a big farm. He was both driving trucks and training "survival" in a special training camp. One day, FBI raided the camp and robert got arrested. He was taken to the army and sent to Iraq. The gladio agents in the army found him and offered to join them. Robert is the one of the most important men of Gladio ever since.

DAVID KING

Born in USA, he has a global reputation for his inventions besides his successful academic career. He left the country when he learned that his latest invention would be turned into a weapon for mass destruction by some people. After living in Europe for a while with a different identity he jooined Gladio.

TREVOR EDWARD MOORE

Born in England. He spent his childhood in underground world of Liverpool. He voluntarily joined the armed forces, especially because of the passion for the rifles. After successfully completing the sniper training in the army, he was sent to Afghanistan. During his stay in Afghanistan, he worked as a mercenary for many illegal organizations. When this information came out, he was expelled from the army. While working for free, his road crossed with Gladio.

ALONSO VARGAS

Born in Texas, USA. Because of his passion for motorcycles and the talent of acrobatics on motorcycles, his friends called him "Motorcyclist". He had to flee from the country because he was trouble with both the cops and the mightiest business man in Texas after a massive robbery. Gladio did not miss this opportunity and took him to the unioun.

PIERRE JULLIARD

He was born in Paris, France. After graduating high school, he joined the army in search of adventure. Following his training, he joined dangerous operations in many countries but he could not find the excitement he was looking for. He left the army and began to work as a mercenary. He conducted many operations in Africa, especially in conflicts areas such as Sudan, Uganda, Somalia. He was confronted with Gladio in an operation in Sudan. Ivan caught Pierre during the operation. Instead of killing him, Ivan invited him to Gladio and Pierre joined the unioun.

ROSA BATTAGLIA

Born in Rome. Other than that, on the record there is no data about her past.
